AH Design is a young, enthusiastic
design agency located in historic Johnstown, New York. Created
in 2000 by Alexandra J. Higgins, AH Design is devoted to
providing excellent high quality design services.
AH Design couples artistic
flair and style with a strong foundation in the fundamentals
of design. AH Design offers commercial and residential design
and consultation services in addition to interior/exterior
color consulting, design aesthetics and space planning.
Along with offering commercial
and residential design services, AH Design founder Alexandra
J. Higgins is also an accomplished painter and sculptor.

Simple. It's the personal
touch. In contrast to large design firms dealing with hundreds
of projects at the same time, when you choose AH Design
you get my full attention. I want to provide you with something
special, something unique - not something pre-fabricated
that comes from a cookie cutter design concept.
Depending on the needs of
the project, I consult with architects and engineers to
work out basic design elements. I also work within defined
budgetary limits and other practical and functional considerations.
Most importantly, I work directly with you to try and provide
what you need and desire.

Who chooses AH Design?
I have designed three major
commercial design projects locally, but, I am accustomed
to minor color consultation and residential design as well.
My background includes 7 years of real estate sales and
I am keenly aware of what will make a home sell. This includes
such things as curb appeal, material finishes and landscape
design. Overall, my expertise for both residential and commercial
design is being the necessary liaison between all of the
necessary contractors, architects and clients and bringing
every project to a successful close.
